Ear (Auricular) Reflexology

Introduction

Auricular Reflexology is based on a combination of traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Auriculotherapy. Working the external reflex points on the ears which is a microsystem that reflects the entire body. Working in the same way as Foot & Hand Reflexology.

This is done by using the fingers and a small tool to pinpoint exact reflex points, and then applying ear seeds (Vaccaria seeds) as necessary on specific points to stimulate certain reflex points, which will continue to stimulate and work after the treatment. These stay in place with a tiny plaster.

Ear Reflexology is widely used for pain control and addictions of all kinds.

Ear Reflexology is the only type of Reflexology that has specific points to treat addictions.

Ear Reflexology is highly effective and powerful for acute issues.

As with Foot Reflexology, this is a very relaxing treatment, which is non-invasive and can be greatly beneficial to helping to relive the stresses and strains of everyday life.

During Ear Reflexology you will remain fully clothed and remove your shoes to lay on the couch.

Reflexologists do not diagnosis but can pinpoint areas that are out of balance within the body and work alongside and supplement any treatments that have been prescribed by a medical professional.

First visit will include a full consultation, medical history, treatment planning and Reflexology session – so please allow an extra ½ hour.

Certain medical conditions may not be suitable for Reflexology. If you have a medical condition concern, please just contact me and we can discuss if a treatment can go ahead or not. GP consent may be required before a treatment can be given.

Sessions are available as 1 hour treatment.
