As with Foot Reflexology, pressure is applied to the hands in the same way to stimulate the nerve endings and reflex points and support the body’s natural ability to heal.
This is a gentler treatment than working on the feet, and is especially good for the elderly, people with injuries to the feet, or people preferring a gentler treatment, especially when suffering from or recovering from an illness.
Also good for people who do not like their feet being touched, so they can still enjoy the benefits of Reflexology.
Hand Reflexology can be used to improve:
As with Foot Reflexology, this is a very relaxing treatment, which is non invasive and can be greatly beneficial to helping to relive the stresses and strains of everyday life.
During hand Reflexology you will remain fully clothed and can lay on the couch or sit in a chair, whichever is your preference.
Amazing Reflexology waxes will be used, with a choice of fragrances for you to choose from. Each with a different special and unique therapeutic purpose.
First visit will include a full consultation, medical history, treatment planning and Reflexology session – so please allow an extra ½ hour.
Reflexologists do not diagnosis but can pinpoint areas that are out of balance within the body and work alongside and supplement any treatments that have been prescribed by a medical professional.
Certain medical conditions may not be suitable for Reflexology. If you have a medical condition concern, please just contact me and we can discuss if a treatment can go ahead or not. GP consent may be required before a treatment can be given.
Sessions are available as 1 hour hour treatment.
