Hot Stones Reflexology incorporates the use of smooth, flat heated Basalt rocks (a volcanic rock type) which range from small to large. These special stones tend to be naturally smoothed by movement of the river or seawater over time.
They are used with the specific purpose to stimulate reflex points found around the body, concentrating on the feet and lower legs.
Basalt stones are chosen for Reflexology because they retain heat well, and they are believed to have nurturing, cleansing and healing effects on the body. Full Reflexology treatment is given, with the added benefit of hot stones.
Hot Stone Therapy is also referred to as Thermotherapy.

Some people use Reflexology as pure relaxation and a chance to escape the stress and strain of everyday life.
First visit will include a full consultation, medical history, treatment planning, foot reading and Hot Stone Reflexology session – so please allow an extra ½ hour.
During Hot Stone Foot Reflexology, you will only be required to remove your socks and shoes to lay on the treatment couch.
Amazing Foot Reflexology balms will be used, with a choice of fragrances for you to choose from. Each with a different special and unique therapeutic purpose.
Reflexologists do not diagnosis but can pinpoint areas that are out of balance within the body and work alongside and supplement any treatments that have been prescribed by a medical professional.
Certain medical conditions may not be suitable for Reflexology. If you have a medical condition concern, please just contact me and we can discuss if a treatment can go ahead or not. GP consent may be required before a treatment can be given.
Sessions are available as 1 hour treatment.
